Speech Script
My fellow Americans,
As I begin I would like to thank my correspondents and partnering politicians for making this possible. I would also like to thank you, the people of this great nation for supporting the decisions previously made by past leaders and the decisions that are to come. I am humbled and honored to be standing in such a position where I can better serve the people that have gotten me where I am today.
Although this great nation has earned a great deal of success over the years, it deals with many lingering troubles. To start, there is the illusive education budget that there are many viewpoints on. If I were to be elected I would work diligently to make sure schools and teachers have the necessary funds it takes to receive a proper and thorough education. To add to this problem, Common Core is a new curriculum that has been troublesome to say the least since the adoption of it. Education curriculum should not be determined by the Federal government, it should be decided by the state how their people are educated. As president, I would give states the option to continue with Common Core or resort back to the traditional curriculum.
Immigration today is completely different than what it has been in the past and has overwhelmed the United States population and economy. As president I would limit the amount of immigrants that enter America by setting up background checks and ensuring that they have a positive and beneficial motive for entering. After two months from entering the States, there will be a requirement that they must be in stable living conditions, have some type of paying job, and be in the process of filling out tax forms. There will be no more immigrants receiving benefits and being allowed to stay in the country without having a positive influence or job.
Economics is a topic in today's government that many question is efficient and whether or not it is going in the right direction. One change that I would make is decreasing the unemployment rate by creating more jobs. This would be done by stimulating the economy which means to create a better environment for businesses so they have the ability to sell more products. Another emerging issue in the American economy is inflation. Inflation decreases the value of the dollar bill for every product you buy. This means that you have to pay more for the product that you are used to getting. If I were to be elected, I would decrease the amount of inflation and restore the dollar bill back to its original value.
I am confident that these principles will better the success of the United States of America and have a positive impact on you, the people. If you choose me to be your next president I will do whatever means necessary to ensure that these policies represent you and satisfy the whole of the United States. God bless you all, and God bless America.

Matt: Well, I personally don’t like Common Core because we have to focus on depending more on other students than the teacher. It’s harder to understand the work more often than traditional curriculum.

Matt: Thank you(shakes hand back)
Part 2
Reporter: Now we are here at another school where they use traditional teaching methods. We are here with Blanca today, who is a student at this school. What is your opinion on traditional curriculum and why do you think it works?
Blanca: Well I like it and think it works because if we have a question we don’t always have to rely on other students for help. We can ask the teacher and she/he will help each one of us with what we need.
Reporter: Well folks, there you have it, that’s why we think traditional curriculum should be brought back for everyone!
